Eat. Love. Travel.

It sounds simple enough doesn’t it?

We eat- breakfast, lunch, dinner (maybe some snacks and dessert too) in a day. We travel- whether it’s taking the subway or car everyday to work or to class, or even flying on a Boeing 737 over land, over ocean for some special occasion. And we love- there is not one person in the world who can say they don’t love at least one person in their life, or a special place on earth, or a special dress or car that they absolutely fall head over heels for.

This is a collection of everything I eat and love on my travels.

I will point out that although my blog was inspired (in name only) by the novel, Eat, Pray, Love, a title primarily a work of fiction (as Lonely Planet points out repeatedly) and I must reiterate I don’t necessarily believe in Elizabeth Gilbert’s story (to be honest I found her pretty smug and annoying, point blank full of it at times). I am not on a spiritual quest to find God on my travels, nor have I have heard Him during a mid-life crisis in which I realize I hate my entire life until I meet a Brazilian hunk and abandon my spiritual leanings for, well, booty.  Sorry Ms. Gilbert but that isn’t for me. That being said, I am inspired only in title by the book, as for me, the essentials are  love, traveling…and, well, I’m a foodie at heart.
